Let’s Move Success Story
Congratulations to all the participants in the “Lets Move for a Better World” challenge!
It was a great success!
Members and trainers really stepped up to get their “moves on”. We were able to keep 5 treadmills moving for 6 hours straight, not to mention all of the extra moves donated by the members!”
Saw Mill Club made a huge push forward for the final event. We started out the morning in 14th place… over 13,000 moves away from the club running in the 13th spot.
And when all was said and done… we ended up in 10th place!
In the nation!
Finishing in the top 10 nationally is a pretty significant accomplishment, especially considering all the clubs we were competing against. Saw Mill Club actually produced over 35,000 moves on the last day alone. Mervin’s team was the winner, producing almost 9,000 of the over 500,000 moves amassed by all the club participants for this challenge.
Big kudos to all who helped, promoted, cheered and participated in this three week challenge, ending in Sunday’s final event. Our final head count was 172 participants, which means we added 146 people and jumped 12 clubs by the end of the challenge!
So thank you again. See you for the next challenge!
